Communication
Use chat channels, mail, and pings effectively while maintaining good etiquette.
Channels
Section titled “Channels”Available channels
Section titled “Available channels”The server uses a channel system for organized communication:
- Global — all players can see
- Town — only town members
- Nation — all nation members
- Local — nearby players (100 block range)
- Trade — for trading and shop advertisements
Channel commands
Section titled “Channel commands”Navigate channels using /ch:
/ch list|ls # List channels you're in and available channels/ch join|j <channel> # Join a channel in write/read mode/ch read|r <channel> # Join a channel in read-only mode/ch leave|l <channel> # Leave a channelChat shortcuts

/g <message> # Send to global chat/tc <message> # Send to town chat/nc <message> # Send to nation chatTrade channel: Join the Trade channel with /ch join trade or /ch j trade, then type your message normally to send to the trade channel.
Chat features
Section titled “Chat features”Player names: Player names in chat are clickable /res components—click a name to view their residence info.
Premium item display: Premium players can use [item] in their messages to display the item in their main hand in chat.
Private messages:
- Direct player-to-player
- Use
/msg <player> <message>or/tell - Reply with
/r
Etiquette
Section titled “Etiquette”Keep it readable
Section titled “Keep it readable”Best practices:
- Don’t spam messages
- Respect chat cooldowns
- Keep messages relevant
Avoid:
- Excessive caps (ALL CAPS)
- Spam (repeating messages)
- Off-topic discussions in wrong channels
Avoid spam
Section titled “Avoid spam”Spam includes:
- Repeating the same message
- Excessive use of characters (!!!!! or ?????)
- Rapid-fire messages
- Advertising repeatedly
Consequences:
- Mutes for repeated spam
- Temporary bans for severe spam
Town Broadcasts
Section titled “Town Broadcasts”Serverwide broadcasts
Section titled “Serverwide broadcasts”Mayors can send serverwide broadcasts as their town:
/townbroadcast <message>Cost: 40 gold per broadcast
Cooldown: 60 seconds between broadcasts
Use broadcasts to:
- Announce town events
- Recruit new residents
- Make important announcements
- Coordinate with other towns
Mail System

/mail send <player> <message>/mail read/mail clearUse cases:
- Send messages to offline players
- Leave important information
- Coordinate with players in different time zones
